Easily share information in the workplace with the RICOH MP 2555 Black and White Laser Multifunction Printer (MFP). Print and copy black-and-white output at up to 25 pages per minute (ppm) with up to 1200 dpi resolution. Scan hardcopy originals and send them instantly to any location via many scan-to options. Select from multiple standard and optional paper sources and print on a wide variety of paper sizes, types and weights.

Place up to 100 black-and-white or full-color originals in the Automatic Reversing Document Feeder version for fast, affordable scanning at up to 80 images per minute (ipm). With the Single Pass Document Feeder (SPDF) version, you can scan both sides of a document in one pass to expedite scanning tasks significantly with up to 180 ipm throughput.

Choose to finish in style

Add a professional look to your documents with budget- and space-saving internal stapling or stapleless finishers. Or, choose between other finishing options, including an external hybrid finisher that can collate sets with or without staples automatically depending on the number of pages.

Be efficient everywhere

Download the RICOH Smart Device Connector app to grab information directly from your smartphone or tablet or favorite cloud-based application (like Google Drive^® or Dropbox^®) and print them on demand. Simply connect via the Near Field Communication (NFC) tag on the MFP to authenticate. You can even send electronic files to your personal mobile device and take them with you.

Simplify your work

Store up to 3,000 documents on the built-in Document Server for fast retrieval. Add Optical Character Recognition (OCR) scanning to search for files via keywords. Add automated workflow software, including optional RICOH GlobalScan^™ NX and Nuance^® AutoStore^®, to minimize repetitive manual tasks.

Track users and information

With User Authentication, you can monitor every user and job. Issue chargebacks with optional RICOH Device Manager NX Accounting or other software. Set print quotas remotely to reduce print costs. Use Locked Print to secure jobs until the authorized user is ready to pick them up.

Fax Options

Fax Connection Unit Type M29

Enables users to send and receive faxes on a sub MFP via a main MFP. This option is required on both the Main MFP that has the Fax Option Type M29 installed and on the Sub MFP(s) needing remote fax.

Notes:

Fax Option Type M29 is required to add this option.

Fax Memory Unit Type M19 64MB

Increases fax memory to 4,800 pages and fax resolution to 400 x 400 dpi.

This option allows you to connect the device to an IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless LAN.

OCR Unit Type M13

This function embeds invisible text on scanned images of PDF and enables users to search PDF files by arbitrary keywords. Searchable PDF files can be sent to email, folders, and external media (USB/SD Card).

PostScript 3 Unit Type M29

PostScript option for customers that require true Adobe® PostScript® for Macintosh and PostScript environments.

Recommended for printing more complex color and PDF files.

USB Device Server Option Type M19A

An interface board for adding an extra Ethernet port. If you install the USB Device Server Option, you can connect two Ethernet cables simultaneously: one to the machine's Gigabit Ethernet port and one to the Gigabit Ethernet port of USB Device Server Option. An IP address can be assigned to each connection and you can use one machine to print from different network segments.

Notes:

USB Device Server Option Type M19A cannot be installed with IEEE 1284 Interface Board Type M19, IEEE 802.11a/g/n Interface Unit Type M19, File Format Converter Type M19, or Extended USB Board Type M19.

XPS Direct Print Option Type M29

Allows for direct printing of XPS type file formats.

Security & Miscellaneous Accessories

ESP XG-PCS-15D Power Filter

The ESP XG-PCS-15D power filter provides multi-stage power protection as well as line conditioning. Our Advanced Technical Support (ATS) recommends the use of Power Protection products to minimize potential electrical interference with products.

Notes:

ESP XG-PCS-15D Power Filter cannot be installed with the ESP S1 Power Filter.

External Keyboard Bracket Type M3

This bracket is required for the installation of an External USB Keyboard.

Notes:

1. External USB Keyboard (No Bracket) is required to add this option.

2. External Keyboard Bracket Type M3 cannot be installed with the Smart Card Reader Built-in Unit Type M29.

External USB Keyboard (No Bracket)

External keyboard for inputting data with either SDK applications or embedded applications.

Notes:

1. External Keyboard Bracket Type M19 is required for this option.

2. External USB Keyboard (No Bracket) cannot be installed with the NFC Card Reader Type M19.

Key Counter Bracket Type M3

4-Pin interface used to mount external key counter to MFP.

NFC Card Reader Type M29

Used to log in and authenticate users via NFC card. The card reader and its cable will be covered inside the mainframe when this option is attached.
