Browse online content and store information in popular cloud services directly from the IM 8000.
Add uptime with smarter support
Access a wide range of RICOH Intelligent Support* options, including automatic updates, alerts and notifications, directly from the touchscreen. With RemoteConnect Support, Ricoh technicians can provide fast, thorough remote troubleshooting. Use the Service Request App to expedite service requests from the control panel, or use How-to-Videos, Web Help and User Guides to do it yourself.

Stay productive on the move
Enjoy convenient, no-touch AirPrint® and Mopria® printing. Use the RICOH Smart Device Connector app to print from any mobile device without utilities, software or drivers. You can place your Android device near the embedded NFC tag, or scan the QR code with your iOS device, to print files directly from your smartphone or tablet. You can also scan images to your smartphone to share or use later.
Add the finishing touch
Keep your documents organized and looking their best with automated finishing options. Assign jobs to designated bins with the 9-Bin Mailbox to minimize others from accidentally grabbing your work. Stack, staple, punch and fold classroom document sets, legal forms, contracts and other presentations with incredible efficiency. To add even more finishing capabilities the Multi-Folding unit gives you six different ways of folding your documents.

Enhance security and accountability in classrooms, legal offices, government agencies and more. Limit access only to users with proper passcodes or billing codes via User Authentication. The IM 8000 is ENERGY STAR® certified and EPEAT® Gold Rated* with a Typical Electricity Consumption (TEC) value of 1.69 kWh/week. Designate automated shut-off times when the office is closed. Recycle toner cartridges through the Ricoh Cartridge Return Program. Use the Motion Detection sensor to activate the Smart Operation Panel from Sleep Mode when a user approaches.
