Fax Memory Unit Type M19 64MB
- Increases fax memory to 4,800 pages and fax resolution to 400 x 400 dpi.
Paper Tray & Cabinet Options
Caster Table Type M40
- The caster table must be added to the configuration when three or four optional paper feed units are installed. It provides a platform with wheels to easily move the device.
Notes:
1. Caster Table Type M40 cannot be installed with the base unit, one or two paper feed units, Medium Cabinet Type T or Tall Cabinet Type U.
2. Caster Table Type M40 can only be installed when the system is configured with three or four optional paper feed units. If three or four paper feed units are not selected then this option cannot be added to your configuration.
Medium Cabinet Type T
- Raises the height of the system while providing businesses with a convenient option for the storage of supplies and paper.
- Can only be configured with either one or two optional paper feed units.

Notes:

Tall Cabinet Type U
- Raises the height of the system while providing businesses with a convenient option for the storage of supplies and paper.
- Can only be configured with the standard configuration.

Notes:

Print Options
IEEE802.11 Interface Unit Type M24
- Allows MFP device to connect to the network over WiFi. Useful for temporary sites and locations where cabling is impractical.
Print/Scan Options
OCR Unit Type M13
- This function embeds invisible text on scanned images of PDF and enables users to search PDF files by arbitrary keywords. Searchable PDF files can be sent to email, folders, and external media (USB/SD Card).
Device Server Option Type M37
- An interface board used to add an extra Ethernet port. Once installed, the option connects two Ethernet cables simultaneously: one to the machine's Ethernet port and one to the Ethernet port of the USB Device Server Option. An IP address can be assigned to each connection, and one machine can be used to print from two different network segments.
Notes:
Device Server Option Type M37 cannot be installed with IEEE 802.11a/g/n Interface Unit Type M19 or File Format Converter Type M19.
File Format Converter Type M19
- Required to convert formats and drag to desktop documents stored via Copy or Print mode.
Notes:
File Format Converter Type M19 cannot be installed with the following options: IEEE 1284 Interface Board Type M19, IEEE 802.11a/g/n Interface Unit Type M19, or Extended USB Board Type M19.
*Exception - The File Format Converter Type M19 can be installed with the following options on the MP C4504ex or MP C6004ex models: IEEE 1284 Interface Board Type M19, IEEE 802.11a/g/n Interface Unit Type M19, or Extended USB Board Type M19.
PostScript3 Unit Type M40
- Genuine Adobe® PostScript®3™. Recommended for printing more complex B&W and PDF files. The IM 550F and IM 600SRF come with standard PostScript3 Emulation and PDF Direct Print Emulation. This option is available for customers who require True Adobe® workflows like Photoshop®, Illustrator® and PDF/X as well as additional font support. When enabled on the multifunction printer, the standard PostScript3 Emulation and PDF Direct Print Emulation will be disabled.
VM Card Type M37
- ONLY required to support any embedded software app that is developed on SDK-J (i.e. Java).
Notes:
1. Memory Unit Type M37 4GB must be selected to add this option.
2. If the embedded software app is developed on the SmartSDK (i.e. full-native Android), then the VM Card option and Memory options are NOT required.

ESP S1 Power Filter
- The affordable ESP S1 power filter provides multi-stage power protection for output devices. Our Advanced Technical Support (ATS) recommends the use of Power Protection products to minimize potential electrical interference with products.
Notes:
ESP S1 Power Filter cannot be installed with the ESP XG-PCS-15D Power Filter.
ESP XG-PCS-15D Power Filter
- The ESP XG-PCS-15D power filter provides multi-stage power protection as well as line conditioning. Our Advanced Technical Support (ATS) recommends the use of Power Protection products to minimize potential electrical interference with products.
Notes:
ESP XG-PCS-15D Power Filter cannot be installed with the ESP S1 Power Filter.
